Ideal good basic hotel, worth its 3 stars. Extremely spacious and compact room, a shower, hair dryers, and a bidet in the room. Tasty breakfast with good varieties, fine food, and welcoming staff. What a really great stay, no complains at all.

The room was neat & compact, on level 1. Central heating, TV set, and a refrigerator were included. The hotel was in a marvellous location, in a residential area. Further, it was near all the Takayama sights as well as the centre of the city.

We loved the public bath at Tabino Hotel Hida. The shuttle driver went above and beyond, giving us excellent restaurant recommendations. The room was small but comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The location, although a bit far from town, was surrounded by nature and had a lovely river nearby. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of Japanese foods. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in Takayama.

Immaculately clean good value hotel with a great pool and a FAVOURABLE location just off the center of the town, the main train station, and Takayama city centre. Beautiful building and rooms on level 1.

No elevator in the hotel. Very small space in the room, cramped with no space for luggage.
